Management Team


Dominic Della Maggiora – President

Dominic Della Maggiora has over 20 years of experience in security, life safety, telecommunications and aviation technology and is a leader in the aviation security and construction arena. Mr. Della Maggiora has developed, and engineered numerous complex transportation security systems, which have been duplicated at transportation centers around the world.

Prior to founding Quatrotec in 2003, Dominic was Vice President at Cabellon. In this capacity he was assigned to the SFO project where as Senior Partner he held the position of Special Systems Project Manager for the 100% Explosive Detection of Checked Baggage at the San Francisco International Airport. Mr. Della Maggiora was instrumental in assembling the project team and developing the design criteria, specifications and construction documents that meet the requirements and timelines of the Aviation and Transportation Security Act.

Prior to his involvement at SFO, Mr. Della Maggiora worked for 10 years at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, in an executive capacity overseeing the development, integration and implementation of innovative communications, security, and life safety systems.


 

Scott Ure - Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Ure has over 21 years of experience in managing the installation of automated baggage systems.

Mr. Ure has been instrumental in the design and construction of the integrated, Common Use Baggage Handling System and the 100% Explosive Detection System now in-place at the San Francisco International Terminal.

Prior to joining the San Francisco International Terminal project, Mr. Ure was employed by BAE Automated Systems where he was responsible for projects including: airport terminal renovations and expansions, system upgrades, baggage handling systems and mechanical installations. Larger projects included: Denver, Phoenix, Chicago, Newark, Melbourne and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Mr. Ure holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University.


 

Matthew Connolly - Vice President, Business Development

Mr. Connolly brings diverse experience including 15 years of Fortune 100 corporate business experience, 6 years of executive management (CEO/CFO) experience with successful high-tech start ups, and 2 years experience as an independent security consultant. Matthew has developed deep and productive relationships with Quatrotec's government and private sector clients.

Mr. Connolly spent 15 years with AT&T, and 8 years in the Corporate Security Organization. During that time, Mr. Connolly received extensive formal training in industrial security systems, applications and management.

Mr. Connolly holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and has formal training in the areas of Physical Security, Asset Tracking & Protection, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), as well as Voice & Data Communications. He has received written commendations from law enforcement officials, private and public sector executives including the Governor of Oregon, for his safety & security initiatives.


 

Lee Deal - Vice President, Engineering

Lee Deal has more than 25 years of senior engineering experience. Mr. Deal's experience with the design, development and deployment of the InVision (now GE) CTX line of baggage screening machinery provides unparalleled expertise to Quatrotec's core team.

Prior to joining Quatrotec, Mr. Deal served as Vice President of Engineering at InVision Technologies where he led the engineering team in the development and commercialization of the CTX series of Explosive Detection Screening (EDS) systems. Prior to joining InVision, Mr. Deal was a lead engineer at TRW. He had direct management responsibility for over 500 engineers installing Electronic Detections Systems for a variety of commercial and government entities around the world.
